Fun game for what it is

The game is decent. The maps are randomly generated so there is always variation. However, there is only a few different biomes, and every hole is Par 3. You earn money and experience based on how well you score on each hole. You can unlock and buy new discs , and the discs have durability which will break after many throws. You can also upgrade your skills: power, accuracy, putting. The throwing and aiming system works well and makes the game challenging. Throwing angles and disc flight is fairly realistic. Sometimes the hit-boxes on trees are funky, and you will hit the tree even though the disc clearly missed. Other times you will shoot near the pin and miss, but the game will miraculously count the shot as going in. Overall the game is made well. There's not many games for disc golf, and most of them are awful. This game was developed for actual disc golfers. There's no story or reason to be competitive. You just play to have fun, and earn money+xp for new discs.

Best frolf game on App Store

Quite addicted, I quite like the improvement system with unlocking different discs and molds and you don’t have to spend money to have a great time. Some small issues with branch physics but not enough to knock any stars off. Tournaments and stamped discs would be great down the road but overall the quality is really great esp given it doesn’t seem to be sponsored by the big manufacturers.

Something happened..

I downloaded this game about six weeks ago and have been playing it regularly, paid to remove ads and have really been enjoying it. There was an update about two weeks ago, and ever since then the mechanics of the game have been super glitchy. The disc bounces off tree limbs that aren't even there, the power and putting slider controls are whack now, much harder to control. It's also not clear to me what the 'accuracy' and 'putting' attributes relate to. What changes about the game mechanics as you invest in the stat? I really enjoyed this game at the start, but I'm going to give it a little break and see if some of the glitches can get worked out. This is a great platform for what could be an excellent game, and ton of people are getting into disc golf every day, so the developers could have a gold mine on their hands. Just have to iron out some issues. Good luck, guys. Thanks.

Amazing app

This is one of my favorite apps to use. Philips tv driver. So much fun, especially when I'm unable to go play real DG. I would LOVE to see some new courses added though! The last update with the new course was awesome and was a much-needed refresher.
My only issue with this game is how out-of-bounds throws are scored. Instead of counting as 2 strokes (1 for the throw, 1 for the penalty stroke), they only count as 1. Also, when I throw OB, instead of having to re-throw from the same spot, I would like to be able to play from where I was last in-bounds.
Other than those two things, I absolutely love this app and continue coming back to it.

I’m addicted

I was already super addicted to disc golf and with triple digit temperatures this summer it’s been hard to get out there and play, but this game is definitely a fun substitute. I love that I can play from anywhere, on the road, on my break from work, or in the middle of the night in the comfort of my bed. Lots of skill upgrades make it so you can get better and throw farther. The numerous discs available is awesome especially cause I throw west side plastic.
I would like to suggest a pass and play option so you can compete with a friend just for fun or maybe even an online pvp matchup thing. Also maybe consider allowing for different logins or characters so I can see how I throw as a noobie again. There’s also a lack of in game explanations and I’m not sure how wear comes into play and there’s a couple more things that came to mind earlier that I don’t remember now of course but some tips would be sweet.
Other wise great game highly recommended. Thanks for making the game no one else would.

Spectacular!

This is what mobile gaming is at its best. The gameplay in this title is second to none, a perfect example of what can be accomplished using the touch screen as a game controller. The developer said he worked seven months perfecting the physics and it was not time spent in vain. The disc flight, related to user input, atmospheric conditions and so on is incredibly believable and the basket modeling yields the same frustration in real life when you stick one in the center of the chains from less than 15 feet and a bad bit of luck keeps her from sticking.
The graphics are good but not on the same level as the gameplay and physics modeling. The holes themselves look fine but there is not a lot of detail beyond your immediate area. You'll be so enraptured by the gameplay and by trying to perfect your swing that you'll hardly notice much else beyond your immediate surroundings anyway.
Whether you are a fan of real-world disc golf or not I highly recommend this title.
